Meet the Member December, 2009 Manish Tiwari, Here&Now365What is your job title?Director Where do you work (geographically)? Aldgate East, London. What do you like most about where you work? Aldgate East is a great melting pot of cultural diversity. Its energetic vibe is ideal for a dynamic Diversity Media company like ours. How did you end up in your field? I came to London to study Mass Media, and soon joined advertising. All this while though, the city seemed to signal the need for Diaspora communication. I read the signs, made Diaspora my business and Here&Now365 was born! Tell us a bit about your company: Here&Now365 is a full-service marketing and advertising media agency that helps public sector organisations, businesses and individuals fit their communication campaigns into the multicultural landscape of the UK. With our specialist ethnic insight, we design cost-effective marketing, PR and social communication campaigns across various media to bring our clients in touch with ethnic minority audiences in the UK. How has the London Chamber of Commerce helped you? As a growing media company, our membership at the London Chamber of Commerce has helped us strengthen our business profile and client relationships. Since we are based in East London, the Chamber Members' Lounge has often been an ideal meeting point to connect with our clients who are based in the heart of City. We have used the free Members' Lounge, cafe and other facilities on several occasions and found them both comfortable and professional. Also, we have especially been impressed by the range of networking events offered by the London Chamber of Commerce to members. Our sales and marketing teams have attended many such events where they could successfully identify new customers and forge new business connections. We have also had help exploring funding programmes, grants and loans by the LCCI's Grantfinder service. Overall, we would highly recommend the LCCI membership with its many benefits to every business in London. |
