London’s Diwali festivities began on Saturday 23rd October with Diwali on the Square, and as a sponsor of the event Dabur Europe were enthusiastically involved. We worked with them to create a ghee farm and cookery theatre at our stall to connect with the community and promote the benefits of Dabur Organic Ghee, using live cooking demonstrations from Radhika Howarth (@radikalkitchen) of recipes featuring the ghee and quiz sessions to create an engaging and interactive experience.
The Diwali on the Square event was also an opportunity to launch the ‘Two Teaspoons of Love’ initiative with a promise to donate 2 teaspoons of Dabur Organic Ghee to a UK charity for every visitor to the Dabur Europe stall during Diwali on the Square.
The stall proved very popular as the community seized on the chance to celebrate in person again, attracting 4263 visitors throughout the day – meaning we could donate nearly 43kg of Dabur Organic Ghee to the charity Sewa Day and their food outreach program.
