London’s most iconic event is just around the corner, taking place over the August bank holiday weekend! This vibrant celebration of Caribbean culture will light up the streets with dazzling parades, infectious music, energetic dance, and mouth-watering food!  

We at Here and Now 365 are thrilled to be part of the excitement alongside our client ORS, bringing even more carnival magic with our own branded float! Get ready for an unforgettable experience on the top deck, where you can enjoy dancing to a live DJ and collecting lots of goodies!

Here are some fun facts to get you in the carnival spirit:

This year marks the 57th Edition of Notting Hill Carnival!

–  The first carnival was held in 1964 to foster unity during times of racial tension in Britain.

–  It’s a Trinidadian-style festival, always symbolizing pride and togetherness.

–  The carnival kicks off with the exciting j’ouvert, French for “opening of the day.” With pulsating music and exciting float

– Expect a whirlwind of over 30 million sequins, 15,000 feather plumes, and more than 30 liters of body paint!

–  Travel tip: If you’re taking the Tube, stations on the Bakerloo, Circle, District, Hammersmith, and Elizabeth lines from Paddington are just a 20-minute walk away!
