Tolly Boy rice is now ready to Spread the Joy!
After months of anticipation and excitement, the Tolly Boy charitable initiative – Spread the Joy with Tolly Boy, has come to an enthralling end. Tolly Boy is proud to announce Wapping Bangladesh Association as being their campaign champions, winning £10,000 of funding, after gaining 6527 votes. This generous amount will assist in continuing their efforts to improve the quality of life for their members. This will be seen through running their Healthy Eating Project, which will help benefit the lives of vulnerable elderly people living in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets
Coming in second place, is NICOWF – The Nigerian Community in Waltham Forest with 6310 votes, who will receive an honourable prize donation of £5,000. This funding will work towards supplementing evening classes, where respectable local youth workers, professional social workers, and local celebrities will lecture on a weekly basis regarding the effects and consequences of gang culture.
Finally, the community group that came in third place is the Bangladeshi Women’s Association, who will receive a prize donation of £2,500 from Tolly Boy. This funding will assist in providing employment and training surgeries for BAME women from disadvantaged communities. Also hoping to provide practical office skills training to nurture women into future employment.
