Asda’s PR campaign shines this Diwali!
Joining in the Diwali festivities this year, Asda created a bang through a widespread PR campaign across ethnic media spearheaded by Here and Now 365.
From sharing ideas on how to make the festivities special, to celebrities talking about their Diwali memories, food bloggers and chefs sharing their recipes and organising a rangoli competition for children – Asda joined in the festivities by being at the heart of the community.
Speaking about the success of the campaign Mathew Jenkinson, Local Marketing Planner for Scotland, NI and the North East, Asda said: “Working with Here and Now 365 over the course of 2016 was an absolute pleasure. Together we’ve been able to stretch ourselves into new areas of PR on our largest campaigns Ramadan, Eid and Diwali and the coverage has been exceptional. We’ve been able to tackle media in new and innovative ways getting Asda covered on TV, Digital, Press and our biggest challenge but also biggest achievement to date social/blogging. We’re excited to continue with this work into 2017 growing our reach/sales in events but more importantly integrating with the communities that shop within Asda and making bringing together diversity in new ways.”
Here and Now 365 has always prided itself for promoting multiculturalism and celebrating the ethnic diversity of the UK.
