Barrio Fiesta – British Filipino Community Event
The Philippine Centre and TFC, the media channel for the British Filipino community have organized a two-day community festival called Barrio Fiesta on Saturday the 30th of June and Sunday 1st of July.
This event is happening all over the UK, and the London edition of the event, held in Lampton Park, Hounslow attracted thousands of participants.
The weather was wonderful, so, luckily for everyone attending, the music, dancing and eating took place under warm rays of sunshine – a precious occurrence in London. The massive stage played host to a range of artists popular with the Filipino community in London. From music to photography and dance – art was definitely well represented.
