In the era of T20 cricket, will Test cricket stand the test of time? Well, that is exactly why three greats of the game came together – to discuss its future. The original poster boy of Indian cricket Farokh Engineer, who is known for his quick glove work and audacious batting; one of Pakistan’s most successful all rounders Mushtaq Mohammad and former England captain David Gower came together with senior journalist Ashish Ray.

The event was held at the Taj and in memory of Sir Ranjitsinhji. This public discussion promised to be the first of many such discussions around the game; which binds the sub-continent and UK together. The enthralling event was attended by British MP, Stephen Pound, who is secretary of the All Party Parliamentary Group on cricket in the UK.

The event was concluded with a sumptuous, contemporary Indian dinner in the heart of Mayfair at Matsya.
