Happy Passover – Chag Kasher V’Sameach
Passover begins today, where the world’s Jewish community celebrates Moses saving them from slavery. The festival is one of the most important in the Jewish calendar and means plenty of feasts, traditions as well as eating lots of unleavened bread.

– Coca Cola actually make Kosher for Passover coke. Normal Coke is off limits because of the corn syrup that it’s sweetened with.
– Horseradish is one of the key elements of the Seder plate and it’s there to symbolise the bitterness that the Jewish people felt at their enslavement.
– Ben & Jerry’s has launched a Charoset wine, fruit and nut compote-flavoured vanilla ice cream. However, it is only available in Israel. Its previous Passover ice cream was Matzah Crunch.
– The world’s largest Seder meal takes place every year in – no, not Jerusalem or New York – in Kathmandu, Nepal.
