MSDUK Meet the Buyer Event

The event brought minority suppliers and corporate buyers together to discuss business and open new avenues of cooperation.

In the established tradition of MSDUK, this event brought together ethnic suppliers and corporate buyers to discuss marketing, media, print and PR, as well as office supplies and packaging. Organised every year, it took place on April 25th at the  King Power Stadium, Leicester.

Structured as a day-long conference, the main point was to provide a space for one-on-one meetings between minority suppliers and major corporations such as Capital One, Barclays, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Glaxo SmithKline, Merck Sharpe & Dohme, PepsiCo, Sodexo & Zones UK.

Representatives of around 20 service providers and manufacturers from around the country have taken advantage of the opportunity provided by MSDUK, one of the several business networking events taking place every year.

MSDUK’s Meet the Buyer facilitated invaluable opportunities that minority-owned Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) would otherwise not have, and most of the members can testify to the new business that’s been created this way.

Here and Now 365 is a proud sponsor of this endeavour. The ethnic business community in the UK is growing from strength to strength thanks in no small part to initiatives like MSDUK, as well as the corporate partners who not only offer business for members, but are proactive in their reach, many times taking important steps to advance collaborations with innovative SMEs.
