Style and Sparkle on London Fashion Show
Style & Sparkle, the chicest of our clients and the newest fashion and style online magazine to hit London’s ethnic beauty scene has covered London Fashion Week for those of us whose more pressing obligations prevented us from following it in person.
The Somerset house has been transformed into a glamorous den of catwalks, dog-walks, gloss and funny European accents. Among the highlights – Mulberry and Burberry have taken inspiration from English gardens, radioactive metals and berries wrapped in leather. We know it sounds crazy, but this is fashion we are dealing with. Crazy is good.
Other designers that caught the vigilant Style & Sparkle eye are Mary Katrantzou, with subtly coloured dresses, printed with stamps and money for philatelists and materialists alike. Ashish went for the ‘British teen from Skins’ look – school uniforms, hipster glasses, trainers and hectic hair.
Finally, a Frankenstein-inspired Christopher Kane collection of textured fabrics, salmon pink and pale yellow was topped off by biker jackets from the creature’s rebel days.
