Eid marks the end of Ramadan – the month of fasting and while Muslims world over celebrate on that day – there are many Eid-al-Fitr celebrations taking place nationwide for everyone to be a part of. After all it is all about celebration, togetherness and unity.

What?
Trafalgar Square is hosting a free Eid Festival, with world cuisine stalls, as well as live music and performance – including activities for families, such as face-painting, calligraphy and sports.

Eid Celebrations at Dishoom
What?
Dishoom King’s Cross is inviting one and all this year for chai, Indian sweets, activities such as Arabic calligraphy, and a communal tree decorated with Eid messages, in addition to a lucky dip for younger visitors to mark Eid.

Birmingham Eid Mela
What?
Celebrating the diversity of the Muslim Community in Birmingham, the Birmingham Eid Mela will be a fun family affair with activities such as a bazaar with clothing and craft stalls, and live music throughout the day.

What?
Eid in the Park is a fantastic family day out, with a huge variety of activities, talks and performances catering for the whole family – including 0-5 years play zone, activities for children and a varied programme for the young and old! The entry fee is £1 for adults and all the proceeds go to charity.
