Welcome partners celebrate as PM Narendra Modi’s visit comes closer
The Indian Gymkhana Club played host to more than 450 welcome partners of the UK Welcomes Modi event at a grand reception.
The gathering which saw the Indian High Commissioner to the UK as the chief guest, showcased the euphoria attached to the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi‘s visit to the UK.
The event themed “Two Great Nations, One Glorious Future”, UKWelcomesModi will be a celebration of UK-India relations, the contribution of the UK’s 1.6 million Indian diaspora, India’s drive to fast track economic development, and India’s globalisation and emergence as a global leader. Over 60,000 people will participate live at the iconic Wembley Stadium. Over 450 diverse community partner organisations have registered.
