Celebrating Children’s Day

Today, the 14th of November, marks India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru‘s birthday, which is also celebrated as Children’s Day in India. While India is celebrating Children’s Day today, November 20 each year marks the official International Children’s Day as it was adopted by the UN General Assembly in 1959 and is celebrated in the UK, Canada and Australia.
